The Warn M12000 part # 17801 is Warn's most popular
HeavyWeight Series winch. This is the winch most people put on
their Ford Super Duty, Chevy Silverado / GMC Sierra 2500HD or 3500, and Dodge
Ram 2500 or 3500. These big trucks require a winch
with over 10,000 lbs of pulling power and the stronger 3/8"
wire rope that comes on this winch. Trying to use a
smaller 9K or 9.5K winch on trucks this large will probable end in a
damaged winch and or broken wire rope.
