Shipping Courier
Inferior shipping couriers are just not a option with the size packages we ship. Yes most sellers offer USPS which does costs less but just like with most things you get what you pay for. USPS service
does include a package id # but it cannot be used to learn the location of your package or
find out when you will get it. If you package is not delivered in the time
frame you think it should be and you call to find out where it is they will tell
you to go by your local USPS store. After standing in line for a couple
hours they will tell you that it could take up to two more weeks for your
package to be delivered. After those two week go by if your package has
still not been delivered you will have to file a lost package claim which will
take 3-4 weeks to resolve. I’m sure several of you Amazon free super saver shipping customers have had experience with this.
Got-Chrome.com ships out every part we sell using FedEx ground. FedEx packages include a tracking # that can actually be used to learn the location of the package and when you will get it. It rarely happens but if your package is lost FedEx will do a very quick investigation so if it is necessary we can get a new kit on the way to you in about two days. And if the contents of your package somehow get damaged FedEx offers a printable online return label that we can send you by email allowing you to return the damaged part quickly at no cost to you.
Shipping Time
We have 4 warehouses scattered across the United States and will ship your order from the closest stocking warehouse to your location. Since we have warehouses in almost every region of the country our average delivery time is less than 3 working days meaning that close to half of you will see 1-2 day deliveries
Shipping Discounts
We use flat rate shipping prices which are good anywhere inside the lower 48 states. Customers that purchase direct from Got-Chrome.com will save 20% on shipping instantly. You will get at least a $5.00 combined shipping discount on every part that you add to your order (most of the larger items have a $10 or $15 discount)
Things to keep in mind
- FedEx cannot use a PO Box # or Route # to find your house… Orders sent out using this type of address will definitely be delayed and will probably end up being returned to the warehouse it shipped from
- FedEx shipping labels will only hold 20 characters per line… Please make sure your apartment #, suite #, or building # does not get cut off the shipping label by putting it in address line 2
- FedEx Ground is closed on Saturday and Sunday so orders received late Friday through Sunday will not ship out until Monday morning… Also orders that are already out for delivery will not move over the weekend so if you order something on Wednesday that normally takes 3 days shipping time it will be Monday before you get it (not Saturday)
- If you provide a daytime phone # during checkout we will print it on the FedEx shipping label so the driver can call if they have trouble finding you
- Shipping should never take more than 5 working days so if you have not received you order within 5 days of paying please let us know
The Truth about Free Shipping
Everyone wants free shipping. Why would you not nothing cost less than free right? Well if you are like me you figured out a long time ago that nothing is free. Sellers that
claim to offer free shipping are just building the cost of shipping into the price
of the product. The advantage to buying from sellers like Got-Chrome.com that charge for shipping are the discounts.
We discount our shipping 20% so even if you only purchase one item you are saving money over a seller that built shipping into the price of the item
Combined shipping discounts are where you can really save some money. Because its built into the price when you order two or more items from a seller that claims you are getting "free shipping" you are actually paying the full shipping cost on every item you order. When you buy more than one item from us you get a combine shipping discount plus 20% off the total cost of shipping
So lets say you have a Tahoe and you want Husky Liner floor liners for it. Got-Chrome has them for 58.99 + 12.99 shipping and you found another seller that has them for
71.99 with free shipping. Free sounds better but you actually save $2.61 with our discounts. Now lets say you want liners for the front row, 2nd row, and the cargo area. With shipping built into the price of the item you will pay $241.97 but with our discounts you get these same 3 kits for $225.15 saving almost $17
